Fern Engineering, Inc. seeks a design engineer with a minimum of ten years of experience in gas turbine engine
design and structural analysis. The position’s responsibilities include providing expert consultation to our clients
in the areas of operational analysis, specialty part design, failure analysis, etc, as well as developing new business.
This position requires travel. This individual could become a principal of the firm and to take a leadership role in the company.
The requirements for this position are:
 A minimum of a BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent degree
A minimum of ten years of gas turbine design experience, ideally with a major manufacturer (GE, Westinghouse, Pratt & Whitney, Solar)
A US citizen or Green Card holder
Desirable qualities for this position include:
An extensive knowledge of the gas turbine market, including a large network of owner and vendor contacts.
Excellent communication skills – both written and oral.
Excellent organizational, management, and business development skills.
